there are of course other sensor sizes, but again I filtered by the most relevant ones (imo)
apparently 1/2.3" can mean lots and I mean lots of variations, but the variation itself is very small, so for most of them I grouped them under the same 1/2.3" general category; so in there there are 1/2.333 or 1/2.29 and so on
same idea will apply to future camera graphs if grouped by sensor size
as expected, foolframes have higher res usually, followed by APS-C (notice the 3 main bumps, most likely related to DSLR/mirrorless/compact, but these are unverified claims)
interestingly enough you usually get about the same res from MFT cameras as from their little brothers 1/2.3" but perhaps this will change in the future; the bigger peak to the right in the MFT/1/2.3" lines is the 16MP which many MFT cameras have
