I was angry with the guy but I'd still rather waste ten minutes of my day than break his nose and risk dropping my camera in the process.
There's simply reason to create or escalate physical conflict if you can avoid it. Anyone who has actually been in a few actual fights, and I don't mean the slapfights you experienced in the schoolyard, knows this and scoffs and Internet tough guys like yourself.
