>>3406164Ah the YouTube question. Anytime I've done something with video I feel like it greatly takes away from my time producing images. I don't really love the format of video and don't care for or spend any time at all on YouTube. I'd rather read an article than watch a video, but I know I'm in the minority there.
I'd like to maybe work some short behind the scenes clips into my workflow (or perhaps educational stuff), but I don't want to go full Ben Horne on the production where I spend two weeks working on video for every day in the field and have to bring another 20 pounds of video gear, mics, sliders, tripods, etc...
YouTube is an insatiable community - even worse than cable TV watchers. You post one thing up there and people just want more, they get hungry in a way I've never seen on any media source. Which is great for exposure, but it takes constant nurturing and can quickly become your whole life. For now, I'm still toying with the idea, but photos and sanity come first.
