Hey guys. I got the Canon 600d (APS-C censor) which crops 1.6. I want to upgrade from my kit-lens to a prime (because i've heard it's a good idea) and i'm wondering which the better focal length for all-around use?
Would it be the 24mm (=38mm on full frame) or 40mm (=64mm on full frame)?
Also perhaps more in general: Is it worth it to upgrade from the canon kit lens 18-55 when filmmaking speaking of sharpness and low-light performity? The 2 primes are only f2.8 so i guess it's not THAT diffrent from the kit lens.
