The black rubber pad around the camera bolt will be rubber to keep the camera from turning.
I can also add eye bolts either side of the camera and zip tie it to the strap ring slots like you suggest.
I'm more concerned about transferring shock to the camera, it just feels wrong to hard mount it directly to the main structure of the car. There is rubber in between the mount and the rollbar, as well as the sheet in between the camera and the mount, but still.
Also the camera I'll be using is just a sony A6000, not a very heavy camera.
