It's a Kickstarter but the goal was deliberately low, it's clearly just a promotional tool to provide significant discounts for early purchases of a product they're already equipped to produce.
I've really liked using the original set. The combination of magnetic filters and tactile+color coding makes it so easy to use without wasting time setting up or double checking what I've put on. There's other brands which do color coded magnetic filters (eg Kase), but I like Maven's approach better. The plastic filter cases are super convenient too
