Returning to photography after a hiatus:
I’ve experience with analog, but not digital photography. I’m looking to purchase a new Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera, a Prime Lens, and a Zoom Lens. I foresee use as indoor/outdoor with low light conditions, either for events (Prime Lens), or sports/nature/landscape photography with a tripod (Zoom Lens).
I’ve used Nikon or Canon in the past, so they most likely choices in terms of manufacturer, but please suggest otherwise, I’ve no preference in a new medium. The choice of Full Frame is based in the familiarity to analog, but also with image fidelity as the prime consideration. I’m set on mirrorless for weight considerations.
Money is no object, but price is a consideration. I’d like to make 1 investment to last 5+ years. Should I wait until after Photokina? Currently scheduled for Sept 26-29, 2018 & May 8-11, 2019.
