>>3486968>>3486969>Canon 35mm f1.8Yo these are nice! I have the 35mm f/2 and it's pretty much glued to my Canon P, small as fuck, sharp as fuck it's not called the "Japanese Summicron" for no reason. Wouldn't mind trying out the f/1.8 sometime I hope you enjoy it. Pic related was shot with the 35mm f/2 at f/8, it's not a good shot but it shows off the sharpness of the lens.
>>3486999While I do somewhat agree with you you're very limited with choice/film speed when shooting slide. Provia 100f, Velvia 50, Velvia 100 and Ektachrome are your only options for slide. If you wan't higher speed colour films your only option is c41 with Portra 400/800, Superia 400/800 and Cinestill 800, etc. Also I might add that c41 pushes better than slide in my personal experience.
>The only reason anyone used it back in the day is because it was more forgiving for exposure fuckups. How is this not applied to today as well? I Sunny16 99% of the time, I only use my Sekonic when I've shooting slide film.
I rarely shoot c41 anymore and if I do it's only with my Mju ii at parties or where I'd need flash (Usually Superia Venus 800 or Kodak Gold 400). If I want to shoot colour in the day it's always Provia 100f , although I do have some Ektar and Portra in 120 I'd like to try out.
But with all of that being said I'd recommend
>>3486925 to shoot Provia 100f and Superia Venus 800 if they can find it
