>>4326135It objectively does, not compared to no AF at all, or the af-c on an ancient mirrorless, but compared to the confidence and speed of older blob cameras it really falls short and for very quick moments you do have way better chances in manual focus with a wider lens. Even single point AF hesitates and hunts more than it should.
Z7II/X-T5 autofocus just isn't very good with the nicer snoys and DSLRs as a reference point. The ZF seems better, but it's also worse in other ways like the missing focus joystick and having SPASM and fake film controls at the same time on a system with very few small lenses and no aperture rings.
