>>3914116>'normal' photographyI used to walk at night a lot. Having just bought a proper camera again after a decade without one I did all the boring normal shit people do with new cameras and their old lenses.
The usual spergy fixations with architectural patterns and stupid-high contrast 'street' shooting aside, humans are much more interesting.
>Is this whole thing your idea?My idea to get off my ass on the weekend and go shoot interesting easy mode subjects for an hour or two?
Who elses idea would it be?
Does nobody understand doing shit just because YOU want to?
>To your knowledge Probably. Who cares? I don't find many other photographers photos interesting, so I don't look at them in general. Occasionally I'll look at peoples photos I know and sometimes see in the city while shooting, but they are almost all very half-assed about putting anything up, or shoot some schtick I'm not interested in other than the occasional aesthetic that appeals for no apparent reason. So i'm generally not that interested in other peoples stuff.
>Whats with the longer lenses?APS-C is ideal for telephoto. Sharp as fuck MTF right to the edges on old FF lenses, additional pull, and perspective compression is good for the paparazzi look people like my photos for.
It's useful for shooting what I shoot at the ranges I shoot. In a single package.
I do also use a 17-50mm on another body when i'm feeling massochistic enough to take two cameras to something ive been asked to shoot.
But you can't shoot people the way I do with a wide lens. The look is entirely different.
>>3914120She was, and probably still is, disturbingly beautiful in person. Very wow.
>>3914124>HOWOther people see them and tell the person in the pic.
Or they already secretly stalk oh-hi looking for opportunities to victim/virtue signal.
Duh. Social media.
