As much as old (probably 10 and 25 ISO) Kodachrome looks exotic on the internet I find it has a look similar to Provia. Like if provia were warmer, but kept the blue in the shadows. Underexposed Kodachrome basically looks very purple — provia is the same, but far less saturation.
Seeing Kodachrome slides in person actually takes the magic away. Modern Velvia looks a lot better for everything except skin colors, where Kodachrome is vintage (lipsticks and reds in general stick out in a way I can’t describe well.) honestly Provia is about as close as it gets, especially pushed. Still won’t be Kodachrome
I’ll take a look at Ektachrome when I get my first roll back but I’m going to assume it’s not going to look anywhere near Kodachrome even pushed
