>>4166907i only have the 10-24 for real estate work. it's my only option for that purpose since other lenses at 10mm have too much vignetting. i would love to use the laowa 10mm since the zoom never leaves the wide end and the laowa is much smaller.. anyways if i was to pick a wide angle lens for stuff other than houses, i'd probably just stick with this 14/2.8 because it's got nice tactility and i don't shoot wide often enough to justify spending on the 16/1.4. plus the 16 and the viltrox 13/1.4 are kinda bigger than i want
i do need to take the 35/1.4 out again because i was pretty bad when i first got it last fall and i don't have many good shots from it
>>4166527i'm digging it. i've had an x100t for like 5 years and it served me pretty well for casual use. i decided to get into photography more actively last summer and got an xt3 and a few months later an xe4 for more edc and street use. i sometimes feel like i could just cut the xe4 and do everything with the xt3 but it does feel a bit more intimidating for casual situations...currently i'm wondering if an xpro would be better than the xe for weather sealing and longevity reasons. in terms of brand, i've only shot fuji and only these bodies, and i haven't been tempted away. when i bought in, i accepted the notion that all modern cameras of the same sensor/body class can get you good pictures and i was not expecting my use cases or skill level to approach any technical limits. therefore i went for the cameras that seemed the coolest to me. so far i've been right on both counts
