He shoots large format film photography, but he also is a fucking wizard when it comes to editing, especially with colors. Check out his blog and read his tutorials.
I'm not for a second going to pretend to be on his level, but just from looking at your shot, the first thing that really jumped out at me from an editing standpoint is some color casts, especially in your highlights and shadows. Yes, it's a lush, green scene, but everything seems to have these muddled, unnatural colors all over the place. Often, people think "Oh! Green! I'll jack up the green even more in post!" And all that does is fuck it up. If you want to highlight colors, you need to have contrasting colors.
Here's a quick and heavy-handed edit to give you an idea what I mean. Your colors aren't completely fucked up in this, so it's not like it needs a ton of work.
