>>3193095I have a D3400. It is great for general photography without getting into a ton of lenses. If you have lens for it already then half the battle is won. If you go full manual with it, there's a few settings you have to change to manual even after turning the dial to "M". I can't speak for the Sony one, but a lot of people on /p/ seem to have it.
