That camera is overall very good for the price but it's still an expensive option because there are no cheap lens options like rf. The 50mm is about $500aud and the cheapest tele is the 70-350mm f4.5-6.3 at $1500. It's $2200aud for a7ii body and 28-70 kit here and you know that's the lowest its gonna go because these are the last new ones left. I can get an eos RP on sale for $1600 with the kit lens. The 100-400 tele is under a grand everywhere and the 50 can be had for $299.
The sony is nice but thats over 4 grand for equivalent setup and it's not even pro level glass. The RP setup runs under $3k all up. Is there really over $1000 of benefit to the sony?
