>>4017892i used to use this CCTV lens on my black magic pocket. i haven't measured anything because i'm not going to put something in my camera near the sensor on purpose unless it's something soft for cleaning the sensor but from looking at it, the flange distance looks longer in the black magic than in my olympus. i don't trust this thing to not scrape the sensor in the olympus, and it also has a moving sensor, i think image stabilization but it might also help with auto focus.
these lenses were not built for m43 and i don't think it's good to recommend them to a beginner unless they have a beater camera to test it on that they don't mind breaking, which they probably don't. it would suck for a beginner to brick their new camera because they used a lens in it that wasn't designed to work safely in it, just because they wanted to save a couple bucks over buying a more expensive lens that's guaranteed to work.
