>>4146246They are the worst. There is actually a lot more to the story (including a car chase with a cabbie, kek) but it's too long to bother, plus no cameras. This sums it up well enough.
>>4146250Yeah, it was great. The cops told me I could just take it. I used to work in FRP and could have restored it but just wanted him out of my life with no reminders. I felt violated and throwing his shit to the curb was satisfying. I dumped it at the main road knowing someone would grab it. The neighbor fixed it up. I'm building a boathouse in the spot they trashed, to make good use of it.
>>4146256Cheers, it's been relaxing apart from this situation. My wife and I randomly came out this way on our first date 12 years ago, hiking the shoreline not far from here. We were just walking with a 6 pack like total White trash. The first photo I have of her, she's holding a crab and smiling with our shoreline in the background. Kind of funny.
>>4146265I was amazed too, but then immediately remembered how incompetent the government is. All of the vehicles were unmarked trucks and not one of them had so much as a kayak. They were swarming the place for close to an hour but didn't bring a boat until long after he was arrested. He's lucky there was a canoe for them to use (I wasn't about to let them use my boat) or he'd be footing the bill for the helicopter too.
