My very first try at DSLR scanning.
It is basically two pieces of cardboard with holes cut in the middle and glued at the end of a cardboard tube that fits tightly on my macro lens.
I simply slide the film between the pieces of cardboard and place it at the holes. I take six pictures (I'm thinking six is a bit too excessive and time consuming, probably going to change it to 3 next time) of a film and then stich it together to form a panorama picture.
On my first try I pointed the tube at a white wall that I illuminated with a speedlite but the results were less than optimal and there was too much of a hassle getting everything lined up perfect. I changed it up a bit and I replaced the flash with a white plastic cup that I taped at the end of the tube to diffuse ambient light. The exposure time went up a bit but the results were better and the overall process was much more simple.
Also one pro of this solution was that when the camera shakes the film shakes along with which results in clearer images.
