I’m trying to narrow down a choice for a good point n shoot cam. I started out with wanting something that I could keep on me as part of my every day carry and do on the go shooting with, as well as possibly vlogging with. I ran into a guy with a Sony RX100 V and after doing some research, I really do like it, it went past my original needs, and the slow mo features (fucking 900 something fps) made me cream my pants, since my trusty GX8 only goes up to 60fps.
What I don’t like is the shit battery life, lack of environmental sealing, and the fact that it doesn’t have touch screen (which isn’t that big of a deal). I had originally been looking at the G7 series but I’m still researching. Is the Sony worth the shortcomings or should I keep looking?
