Any tricks for developing film as quickly as possible?
I've got a IIIf with shutter issues, specifically shutter tapering. To get the tensioning of the curtains right I've tried using a cheap shutter speed tester on the left and right sides of the frame but it's a real crapshoot. If possible I'd like to just shoot a few frames of film and dev them to see the actual results. Since I don't care at all about acutance, grain or even the longevity of the image, only about the evenness of exposure, is there any way I can get the development done as quickly as possible?
As the test film film I was planning to use HP5+ 400. I've a bottle of Rodinal and HC-110 lying around.
If anyone knows a good method for balancing first and second curtain tensions that would be very helpful too.
