>>2661590I don't have the lenses yet, but all the reviews I read and mostly all the photos I looked at taken with those lenses indicate they are very good and well resolving lenses throughout their whole spectrum. Tack-sharp even wide open with not a single hint of CA and fringing is the main attribute for both the 60-250 and the 300. I will buy the one I can get at the best price, but since I also shoot planes and some local events I am leaning towards the zoom. The prime also has a lenshood with a rubber rim part, definitely designed for nature and forest shooting. If I could afford them I would buy both.
Also both are full weather and dust resistant, silent and quick to focus.
Currently I have the DA 50-200 WR quasi-kit lens and a 400mm manual prime for wildlife.
