What Fuji got right and Nikon got wrong is size. The Fuji X-Pro_ is roughly the same size as a classic rangefinder, slightly thicker than a film body but about the same as a Leica digital. Fuji also created a clean design without to fucking many buttons and dials.
Had Nikon basically come out with an A7 with an F mount, and simple controls, they would have had a winner. Instead we got a fuckhuge monstrosity littered willy-nilly with buttons and dials.
