What’s impressive about the iPhone is that it’s literally impossible to take a bad photo if you’re a casual user. Even if you shake the shit out of the camera it’ll just go back in time and combine a bunch of photos from before you pressed the button. Live Photos also have key frames so you can reframe to slightly before or after you pressed the shutter when shooting action.
You should give Halide a shot for RAWs. The RAWs are noisy but pretty usable in a pinch when you don’t have your main camera on you.
Also, for video, the iPhone holds up to vlog cameras like the ZV1 in good light.
