>>3692452It helps, but if you're shooting in hazy as hell light typical during the summer a polarizer still won't help much. Also, a polarizer's effect is at its max when your shooting perpendicular to the sun. As the sun gets closer to being directly in front or behind you the polarizing effect diminishes.
Basically, shooting in shitty light / atmospheric conditions and expecting to somehow record a blue sky as if its a crisp fall day comes down to simply not understanding how light works.
