The Canon seems competitive, in that both the new Canon and the Sony gen 4 AF (inc A6400 and A6600) are above the A7iii. In an alternate universe where all of them had the same lens mount and interchangeable lenses, I wouldn’t pick the Nikon. Before Sony’s real time tracking and Canon’s new AF, in continuous AF you could find several OOF shots even in moving subjects. It might appear to track, but several might end up out of focus anyway.
