>Get hired to shoot one of my bucketlist cars a 930 911 turbo>All of my friends bail on me and I don't have a chase car>Call up my bud Greg who owns a turbo Festiva>With a Mazda Protege 2.0L swap>In a fucking Festiva>With a god damn rear-mount turbo hanging off the back>Rig open his hatch with a set of vice grips>Hang my fat ass out of the back at 60-70mph with someone sitting on my legs>Use a Canon 60d with a flippy screen and LiveView>Hold really really still and shoot 1/60The faster you are going the easier it is to get sharp pictures, the car has to be moving above 60mph for anything decent. 1/30 is a tough order I did this standing through the sun roof of a BMW 7-series on a 24-105/4L IS. Stabilized lenses will help you greatly but are not required, the 911 Turbo was shot on an old 20-35 f3.5-4.5 USM because my 5D Classic was at Canon being serviced at the time.
It is possible to use the back seat of a sedan but you need to be unbuckled and almost facing the car to do it. The trunk is never a good idea because of polar moment of inertia while riding down the road, it has to do with how the back of the car responds to bumps vs. being over the wheels, which on a Festiva is nothing.
