I've sold all my gear before university. Now having a good job with good payment I wanna get back to my hobby and invest in a new system. I'm not a big fan of DSLR style cameras and I also don't need the best performance. Went to a store and tried a Sony A7 and it feels def too bulky and "professional".
I love the rangefinder form and that classic look to it. So my two favorites currently would be:
Leica M11
>and a 50mm lens
>around 10k€
or
X-Pro3 (or the 40mp xpro4 in future)
>18mmf1.4WR
>33mmf1.4WR
>56mmf1.4WR
>around 4500€
So the full blown Fuji with all lenses I ever need and autofocus cost less than half of the leica with one lens. As I mostly photograph stills I think I could enjoy the manual focusing. I believe both cameras have perfect build quality, I don't care if the fuji is a bit worse. Only thing that makes me consider paying almost double for the M11 is because it's Full Frame with better(?) dynamic range, more details, ..
Really don't know which route to go. I'm afraid to buy the Fuji and after a year or two I notice that I would prefer FF. But maybe on the other hand this won't be the case at all? What do you think?
