I always carry an OM-D for snapshits and some film SLR plus a tripod usually, but normies don't really give a shit because I don't look like a tourist. Some give me angry looks due to my tele fetish, because that shit always makes you a criminal especially when you're an unaccompanied 30-something white mail. I do chat a lot when hunting for stuff from antique shops because people running those are often interesting and informative, but when I'm shooting I'm super focused and don't really respond if anyone tries smalltalk. Especially in winter, I have limited light that keeps changing rapidly, so I really don't have the time for a convo.
Anyone who knows me knows I have a camera with me all the time and there's no reason pointing it out.
