>>4036897Considering the difference in battery life, and you don't wanna be swapping out batteries when the golden shot is about to happen... that alone should tell you that you made the right choice. Besides, you have FAR more lens options with the T8i. I've been using one for a few months now and I'm getting some good results. Take the time to really know how to use it and you'll do fine. It will do all you need. The only limiting factor is your skill level...and that, you can steadily grow.
