Sunny 16 works in the city at sea level on a sunny day nearly the same as it does at 15k feet on a snow covered mountain. Up that high, you maybe need to underexpose by 1/2 stop off from whatever sunny 16 would suggest.

Anyway, I'm out. Me and the other guy who have actually grown up on the mountains have told OP they don't need ND filters. Doesn't matter to me who they listen to. To those of you that think sunny snow suddenly requires multiple stops of underexposure, well...I guess you just like grey snow.
