so tonight, I experienced my first "no photo!". there were these 2 kids sitting on top of a fake giant dog house, I was like, this is nice, I position myself right in front of them and snap a couple frames. and I hear behind me their dad telling me to stop. I tried to be friendly, showed him the pictures asked him if he would like to have them. he didn't wanna, so I offered to delete them. ended up deleting them in front of him. I don't blame him. kinda killed my vibe for the rest of the night. but it was a respectful interaction, the guy wasn't particularly agitated. just didn't want some random guy taking pictures of his kids.
shit like this makes me want to shoot film more often.
