>>3005622If I remember correctly I've criticised her for not editing her selections down more, not for the order in which she has posted her images. I realise I'm a hypocrite either way, but thought I might as well nudge you into more valid criticism. I haven't 'shit on' her for either. The only time I've given Isi pretty strong criticism was in her rainbow people thread, which is the only thread of hers I've seen which I thought was a complete failure. I usually enjoy her threads a lot.
>>3005625Yeah, vast majority are handheld. I find it working with a tripod slows me down too much, unfortunately I am naturally too erratic.
>>3005633Thanks for taking the time to post such good critique, friendo. I am pretty disappointed with the shots I got at Stokksnes (these three:
>>3005589 >>3005590 >>3005594 - I've wanted to visit for years but we got there too late and I was pretty sad when we did arrive, something terrible had happened the day before and I'd spent the entire day up to that point on a futile exercise). Sorry if this is vague, feel free to direct message me on insta or fb for more info.
>should have stood further rightYeah, I wish I could have. We were on ropes and crampons at the time and on a pretty precarious staircase made of solid ice - I just couldn't reach. Attached image is of said staircase. Still, this and another of the ice shots are among what I think are the best of my photos from the trip.
>could have worked really well as a central shot from the frontI was deliberately avoiding this cliché, but maybe I should have just run with it.
>>3005756Yeah I was comparing the 5D to the D700 and oversimplifying the fact that the features of each are aimed at two different types of shooting, and I had made the wrong decision in which I had chosen. It was clumsily worded but wasn't a stupid point. Still, the fact that this is still mentioned is a symbol for how facetious /p/ is willing to be for the sake of being mean spirited.
