>>4310206Hallelujah, it's beautiful! Fresh scan, no tone or color edits at all, only sharpened a notch. I think I'm in business.
Now to figure out if the cost of chems and the effort of doing it at home outweighs the cost of sending it to the lab.
Thank you for bearing with me today and all the advice.
>>4310223This looks good. 25% temperature drop without compensation feels like a lot though, at least for developer. But yeah I would be much less worried about blix being a few degrees off. I am just a little paranoid after developing R100 which seems to be super sensitive to temperature.
>>4310227I don't mind using this cheat code, and in most cases I don't mind flatter look, makes it easier to edit later. I haven't tried stand with any other dev than Rodinal, didn't even think there were any others suitable for it.
Also I haven't used DD-X in years, but I remember it fondly. But it ends up being too expensive if you develop a lot.
>>4310228For sure lol, that's just what I had available. And I thought, too, that bigger volume of water would keep it more stable and heat the bottles up faster, but it didn't seem to be worth it without some active temperature control and circulation.
I have a suitable tub in mind, so hopefully next week will I get the sous vide thing.
