This is probably one of my favourite images, I like things to be a bit loose and fun but still smart, so robert doisneau and jeff mermelstein are up there. Koudelkas pictures from gypsies really hit home for me out of anything I've ever seen, the book is printed in a really coarse way that works well with the pictures, overall it's an really powerful experience taking your time and going through that book.
I remember lying in bed with my then girlfriend and looking through gypsies and one other book, I forget the other one now but we had to put gypsies down as it was just something we couldn't dedicate enough of ourselves too, it really demands a lot of attention.
