When I took that photo all I was thinking was "Hey that steam coming from the meat cooking is pretty neat" snapped a photo a continued on. Same with the photo of the kids and guy in the duck suit, I was thinking "what a wholesome moment" and I snippity snapped a photo. Obviously these photo would work best in a series because that's what I am intending. When taking "street' photo my goal is to document my day, not try and get that one perfect photo. I'm still learning just like most other anons on here, the only way to git gud and have your own unique twist is to just keep shooting.
It's silly to compare photographic genres and the way you should interpreted them to one another.
Also your whole point about the Hassy shot is bogus. Only gear whoring IG fags do this, you wouldn't see that in an exhibition.
