I always get the lab to scan my photos when I send them in to get developed but I also always get my negatives back and scan them at home in case I don't like how their scans come out.
I use the Epson V600 so nothing special but it works for what I'm trying to achieve.
I'd love to have my photos printed and on display somewhere as I've seen a lot of people in my city with (in my opinion) not as good photos as mine get their photos displayed in small indie "galleries" and sold for anywhere between $50-200. Too bad I don't even know where I'd begin to get into something like that. I'll also probably want to wait until I get a few sets/collections completed now that my style has changed after switching cameras.
