filming a 30second scene and trying to portray the entire feeling, setting, mood AND tell the whole story of that 30secon video, all within a single image/frame is something completely different and requires much more skill and creativity. go watch roger deakins or richardson interviews.
also its not just deakins and richardson, a lot of other famous photography directors think the same.
