Inferior sensor with worse qualities but its all about perception. I wouldnt personally think about CMOS vs CCD. Just get a decent camera (which is most likely CMOS) and have fun with it. us digishit fags just like to play around with older stuff. handicapping yourself is fun
"Film like" is sorta a meme. You either shoot film or dont. I've got more authentic film-like shots from my CCD camera but thats because IDK how to edit RAW to look like film other than a RNI preset lol, so i'm assuming you can also achieve it on cmos with way better quality and more headroom
