That is the pitfall of being so connected these days (though humans are always similarly influenced by those around you): we all consume the same things, and therefore are all inspired by the same things, so it follows what we create will be similar. Some of the projects (all of the projects) I'm personally working on "have been done before", and sometimes I get discouraged, but I just remember "it's not who did it first, its who does it best". Its helpful to remember
