To answer your question though, no, there's no drop in resolution. Generally the entire emulsion is sensitised to the same wavelengths so adding a filter means that only certain light will hit the silver, but just as much silver reacts in the end. I've very shittily overlayed a chart with filters over a film's spectral response chart if that helps make it make sense.
