It'll complement my 24-105 nicely and I'm going with old glass cause I figure I am gonna use it for 5% of shots at most. 105mm on APS-C proved to be woefully inadequate for the airshow I went to, but I did find that manual focusing for such shooting was surprisingly easy and perhaps even easier than trying to track it in AF.
