given the Bigma has a much narrower max aperture, but the 70-200 (at least this copy) is unacceptably soft at 2.8

I only bought it over the first-party 70-200 because of the optical stabilization
but the softness aside (probably bad copy), the design has really bad vignetting
which I could live with, but points are just adding up against the Sigma
