And it still has more DoF than an 85mm 1.8, and that’s with bringing the focus distance closer a further 10cm (min distance on the 80/1.9) and using the calculator at f/1.8, the 85mm 1.8 is an inexpensive lens, we can drop that to 1.4 and 1.2 if we’re seeking out the sole fastest lens you can find. Or the 50mm 1.0. And I’m sure anon is using the 80/1.9 when claiming 5.6, anon most likely has a 85mm equivalent, not a 50mm equivalent.
