Extension tube will turn you 14-80mm lens into a decent macro lens. They're safe, cheap and effective investment. Even those that offer auto focus capabilities. Alternatives are fore lens, more expensive, and quality dedicated macro lenses. Most expensive, but they often offer the best quality.
