>>3756443I mostly agree about all of that stuff. My personal governing spirituality/philosophy is just a very impersonal universalism that verges on practical atheism, but I'm also pre-programmed with the lexicon of protestantism, so I find it interesting to explore.
Swamp gas was a euphemism for UFOs. I'm not sure what to make of the things I've seen; military, paranormal, extraterrestrial, or just my own mind. I live pretty close to an air force base by jetflight standards, so it's easiest to just chalk it all up to flare drills, but I'm more interested in the phenomenon of being enthralled with things than the truth behind them. Truth is often boring.
That particular encounter I was talking about is among the weirdest things I've ever seen. I was driving past that swamp I frequently post pictures of, the one full of the limbless tree trunks, and saw a triangle of orange lights in the sky above it with a 4th light in the center. I would be comfortable dismissing it as flares, except for the way it disappeared. The outer points of light converged on the inner point of light and then it shrunk away and disappeared.
I don't believe it was aliens, but it looked like a sci-fi depiction of a spaceship warping to lightspeed.
Probably just a flare, but I've never seen a flare work backwards before!
>these are quite nice. i'm very surprised their yours because they're nothing at all like the typical stuff you post.I've gone through a couple of short phases of more abstract stuff like that. I'll post a couple more since you're interested.
