>>4130985Thanks! Thats basically my whole schtick, tryna get interesting trains in photogenic scenes, to try and tell some sort of a story. Though there is many photographers just like me here in central europe and especially here in Czechoslovakia (or whats left of it), which makes it not so special. :D But I love it either way.
And sure I do, how about another magical slovakian scene? This is also from my autumn trip to Slovakia. I was there with a friend from Germany, and he kept talking how he wished to capture a photo with "fire in the forests", as in forests as red as fire. :P And our wish was granted already on the 2nd day of the trip in the village of Dedinky on the edge of the Slovenský ráj national park (literally translates to "Slovak paradise", fits quite well I think). Here you can find an absolutely stunning scene, where the railway line from Banská Bystrica to Margecany literally splits a lake in two. That combined with the "fire in the forests" and the prettiest machine of the Zvolen depo, lighting Goggle 754.055 named "Renátka", makes for a truly lovely sight.
And moreover, as of the new european timetables this december, these big diesels with classic carriages were replaced with boring modern diesel units. So unless those diesel units keep dying like flies (which isnt all too impossible when considering the poor state of slovak maintanance), it became nearly impossible to replicate this photo, atleast for now.
