>>4042482>... that's one way of expressing that a camera's performance drops as severely between ISO 320 and ISO 400 as it does for the next 4 stops, I guessyeah, that's another way to see it, it does suck but desu in real world use it matters very little to me, all this means is that I don't need to stress about ISO below 320 and between 400 and 6400, I can just shoot and turn up the ISO if it helps me see and therefore use a faster shutter speed, or I can shoot with too-low of an ISO without it mattering as brightening it in post will get the exact same result.
For me this greatly streamlined shooting as ISO basically doesn't matter within those constraints so it's all good from my POV
