To scan my 120 film, my lab can only scan 35mm, but dev's both.

I can using my Canon 80D, with the Canon 50mm f2.5 Macro. I can fill the frame without extension tubes.

I use a flash for backlight, with a small white diffused plexiglas in front.

Yet my medium format scans seem max out at around 1mpix.

Pic related, left is a selfscan of Fuji 400H on a Bronica ETRS with the 75mm.

Right is lab scan (2mp), Pentax ME Super, Superia 400 and the 50 1.7.

Why do I suck so much?
