As for interval, I want to say that I made a 30 second clip over 4 hours at 60fps. I'll have to dig up the timelapse though to verify that. Interval is also something that you just kinda have to play with. I'm not claiming to be an expert, but from everything I've read, seen, and done, there's not really any hard and fast rules.
