I grabbed this one a few hours ago.
The lens launched for 900 dollars.
Then some special shop in ebay offered the lens for 750 dollars to bypass tariffs (even cheaper than usual grey market shops).
Then Sigma's 14-24 wrecked the sales of the Tamron lens.
So now the tariff bypasser is selling them for 700 bucks. I guessed this was the pain point, it won't get below this so I scooped it up from the cold Canadian snow.
At this price the Sigma is twice the cost, and can't really compete in terms of value.
